We want you to love your book. Here’s how we make sure you do.

Preview first

Every book shows you the cover and the first scene before you pay. If the face doesn’t look like your kid, or the story feels off, just close the tab. You’re not charged until you click the unlock button.

Free redos

Paid customers get 3 free redos per order, no questions asked. You can redo any scene right from the book review page. If you need more help, email hello@getstorysplash.com with your order number and a short note about what didn’t work.

Full refunds

If the redone book still isn’t right, or if something went genuinely wrong on our end, we’ll refund the full purchase price. Refunds are processed through the original card and usually land within 3 to 5 business days.

When we can’t refund

  • Books you loved, read for weeks, and then asked for a refund on months later.
  • Complaints that the book is too personalized (that’s kind of the point).
  • Orders outside the 30-day window.
